Summer

-Go to a drive-in movie

-Take the boy to play in the fountain in Olympia

-Get an Olympic Mountain ice cream cone at the Union Country Store, sit on the porch and watch the sun set over the Olympics

-Roast marshmallows over the fire at the Point

-Build a treehouse

-Pick wild blackberries and make a pie

-Drive down the Oregon Coast all the way to Yachats, eat good Mexican food, swim and roast hotdogs over a beach fire.

-Swim in the Canal on hot afternoons with the boy

-Take the rowboat out and have a picnic

-Camp out in the yard

-Eat lots of home grown tomatoes

-Drink my morning coffee in the sun on the back porch

-Read good books late into the night
